Text neck is the neck pain that results from looking down constantly at your phone, tablet, or other mobile device. This condition can be successfully treated with chiropractic care.

If you are unfamiliar with chiropractic care, it is a health practice that is dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of disorders in the nervous system and skeletal system. As an alternative method of health treatment, there is no need to worry about costly medicines, because there is a true solution to your neck pain.

Premier Chiropractic and Performance is here to treat and alleviate your text neck pain. We know the struggles that neck pain brings with it, whether it be drastically reducing your mobility, or the sleepless nights that accompany neck pain.

A Quick Tip for Neck Pain Treatment

Here's a quick tip that you can perform easily at home, or wherever you find yourself having issues with neck pain. Below is a brief stretch exercise, called a neck extension, that can help the next time your neck is bothering you.

  • Gently look upwards, bringing your head backward while keeping your shoulders and back still. This will lightly extend your neck, opening up the area for better blood flow.
  • Bring your head back as far as you can without increasing your neck pain, and hold it for 5 seconds.
  • Once your countdown ends, gently return your head to the neutral starting position.

This quick tip can be repeated as often as needed.
